  • 1 1/2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts or chicken tenders
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons TRUFF White
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Pinch of cracked black pepper

Ingredients: Waffles & TRUFF Syrup

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoons TRUFF White

  1. Cut chicken breasts into strips and place them in a large bowl.
  2. Add buttermilk, salt, and TRUFF White Truffle Hot Sauce to the bowl and toss to combine. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Heat 4-5 cups of oil in a large dutch oven or preheat a deep fryer.
  4. Place flour, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl and stir to combine.
  5. Remove the marinated chicken strips from the bowl and strain.
  6. Working in batches, dip the chicken into the seasoned flour and toss to coat.
  7. Once the oil reaches 350°F, carefully add the chicken and fry for about three minutes or until cooked.
  8. Remove chicken from the oil and set aside to drain on a wire rack or paper towels. Repeat with the remaining chicken.
  9. Place flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large bowl and whisk to combine.
  10. Make a little well in the center of the flour mixture and add the eggs, oil, and milk.
  11. Whisk to combine the batter and keep it refrigerated until you’re ready to make the waffles.
  12. Place butter, maple syrup, and TRUFF White Truffle Hot Sauce in a small saucepan and slowly warm the mixture over medium-low heat until the butter has melted.
  13. Preheat the waffle iron and cook the waffles according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  14. Serve the waffles topped with fried chicken and drizzled with the syrup.
